The Rectangle Club

Formed in the early months of 2005 in Massachusetts by singer/guitarist Shane Hall, The Rectangle Club is a 4 piece rock band that tastefully blends elements of blues, rock, punk and folk into an energetic live performance.

While a Rectangle Club show is typically driven by their repertoire of mature original songs, they have a knack for covering semi-obscure tunes and making them completely their own. Covers include the Dead Kennedys Kill the Poor, Happiness is a Warm Gun by the Beatles, and even Leonard Cohen's Tower of Song gets a treatment.

After honing their talents by releasing more than two album's worth of demo tracks, they are currently working on their debut EP, which carries a spy theme. The Rectangle Club has laid dormant for some 3 years now - surfacing for the random show here and there. With a new lineup and a new group of songs Austin, Brian, Shane and Jon plan to bring the ruckus!
